Crest Pumps smash reliability ratio.

For almost five decades, UK-designed and manufactured Crest Pumps have maintained a reliability ration of 99.98%. We think that’s impressive in itself. But even more so for a family- owned company which continues to innovate and push the boundaries to meet the needs of the very demanding industries they serve.

Specialising in the manufacture and supply of chemical resistant centrifugal pumps used for corrosive liquids, Crest’s pumps are at work around the globe. They’re found in businesses ranging from the global giants which have out-digital’d Silicon Valley to small, local engineering and food processing companies.

What Crest brings to Prime Pump, along with quality, reliability and longevity, is a highly specialised range and ability to customise to meet very exacting requirements. And that expertise is available to your business.

We’ll give you an example.

A pump developed for Fibercore, a business arm of world-renowned Optical Fibre Group from the University of Southampton, UK, is the only one of its kind in the world. The ECC 80-50-250 pump re-circulates a mixture of Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Chloride and Sodium Fluoride ready for safe disposal. The unique cocktail of chemicals would pose a significant challenge to any ordinary pump’s life.

But, today, 17 years after its installation, the pump is still a core piece of plant at the University.

Crest’s “off the shelf” pump solutions are equally impressive.

Their plastic mechanically sealed pumps are the culmination of over 40 years’ experience. Advanced technical and engineering knowledge has refined the mechanical seal range to be the most flexible, efficient and reliable pumps on the market.

Likewise, the Crest vertical plastic pumps are second to none. Designed to be fully maintenance free with a “fit and forget” philosophy, the vertical range have stood the test of time, offering solid lifetime performance.
