How it works
With increasingly strict regulation covering water abstraction and discharge, there is a corresponding need on quarry and construction sites to be responsible and lawful with their handling of site water.
EnviroHub tanks by Prime Pump are designed to effectively recover suspended solid particles from water in continuous pumping applications.
It is a simple but effective way of ensuring that environmental pollution concerns, from activity such as earthworks and silt laden wash water are safely met. This enquires compliance with authorities and water standards requirements.
These tanks are typically used with 3", 4", or 6" pumps depending on the flow rate required. However, where there are greater volumes, multiple units can be easily connected in parallel to increase settlement capacity.
Benefits of EnviroHub
|Model||Settlement Area (m²)||Capacity (m³/hr)||Footprint LxWxH (m)|
|HL20||20||1-20||1.8 x 2.2 x 2.2|
|HL40||40||1-40||2.1 x 2.2 x 2.4|
|HL50||50||1-50||2.2 x 2.5 x 3.2|
How it works
|Silt-laden contaminated water is fed into the unit via the back chamber. It then flows around into the base of the lamella plate section of the tank. The water stream flows upward between the lamella plates. With the slowing flow, the solids fall to the plate surface, where they slide by gravity down the plate and into the sludge collection chamber. The sludge is then periodically drained using the valve at the bottom of the hopper.|
